Google unveils Gemini 4 Argon, Micron's AI memory haul tops $54 billion, and Cisco patches an exploited SD-WAN flaw. NOTE: Delete this comment block before publishing.
Good morning. Here's what happened in tech over the last 24 hours.
Google's Gemini 4 Argon is here, just not for you yet
Google unveiled Argon on Wednesday. It's the flagship of its new Gemini 4 family.
It's bigger than any of Google's past Pro models. Google says it's on par with OpenAI's GPT-6 Astra and Anthropic's Opus on key coding and cyber tests.
There's a catch. Only select cybersecurity partners get it for now. Google gave no public release date. It's also scrapped plans for Gemini 3.5 Pro.
The launch post topped Hacker News on Thursday. Google's back in the frontier race, but buyers can't test the claims yet.

Patch Cisco SD-WAN Manager by Saturday
Cisco disclosed an exploited flaw in Catalyst SD-WAN Manager on Wednesday. It's CVE-2026-76504, rated 9.8 out of 10.
An attacker with no login can get admin access to the API. Attacks began before a fix existed. There's no workaround, but patched releases are out.
CISA added it to its exploited list the same day. Federal agencies must patch by Oct. 3. Anyone on versions before 20.9 has to migrate. If you run SD-WAN, this is your weekend.

Must-See: Elon Musk's Version of the iPhone
The biggest product ever”
Remember when Steve Jobs launched the iPhone…
And all of a sudden everyone felt like they HAD to have one?
I believe history is about to repeat itself with this new Elon Musk product.
Imagine if you could go back and invest in Apple before it launched the iPhone.
That's the opportunity in front of you.
But there's one big difference…
Elon is predicting this will be much, much bigger than the iPhone.
In fact, he called it "the greatest tech invention in history."
No wonder he quietly filed this patent with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to protect what I believe will be his next AI breakthrough.
Look, scientists have been trying to develop something like this for almost 50 years.
Nobody was ever able to do it…
Until now.
Elon Musk did it…
And it's going to be a game changer.
Click here now to get the details and I'll discuss the stock you need to buy now… BEFORE the big launch. (No, it's not Tesla or SpaceX.)
P.S. By the way, when you click here…
I'll also give you the name and ticker symbol of a company that has been called "the next Nvidia…"

California says software can't fire you on its own
Gov. Gavin Newsom signed new AI worker protections on Wednesday. It was his last day to act on bills.
The laws limit AI in firing and discipline. Clinicians, not software, get the final say on patient care. Employers can't use AI to guess workers' emotions or collect brain data.
Labor didn't get everything. The firing law lost an appeals process and workers' right to sue. Still, California employers now need a human in the loop.

Samsung announced the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and Tab S12+ on Wednesday. The Ultra starts at $1,399. The Plus starts at $1,199.
Both run MediaTek's Dimensity 9500 and ship with an S Pen. Samsung says they're the first Android tablets with Photoshop preinstalled. They go on sale Oct. 7.
At these prices, premium Android tablets now compete with laptops, not just iPads.

Amazon's new Fire TV Stick ditches the wall plug
Amazon launched a new Fire TV Stick 4K on Wednesday for $59.99. It can draw power from your TV's USB port.
Amazon says apps open over 35% faster. It adds Wi-Fi 6, AV1 support and a redesigned remote. It runs Vega OS, Amazon's own software.
There's no sideloading, though. That's a big change for a device people loved to tinker with. You lose a cable, and some freedom too.
