Anthropic Files for Its IPO, Showing $16.3 Billion in Half-Year Revenue

Anthropic filed to go public Monday. It plans to list on Nasdaq as "ANT," with Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley handling the sale. The share count and price aren't set. The filing shows $16.3 billion in revenue for the first half of 2026, up from $1.2 billion a year earlier.

The net loss was $80.7 billion, Bloomberg reports. The Financial Times says more than $72 billion of that came from a rise in the value of convertible notes. TechCrunch counts more than 11,900 customers paying at least $100,000 a year. Reuters says the seven co-founders keep 50.1% of the voting power.

The Wall Street Journal, citing sources, says Anthropic wants to list the week of November 16 and raise about $100 billion at a $1.5 trillion to $2 trillion valuation. Anthropic hasn't confirmed either figure. If you own AI funds, read the filing's 94 pages of risk factors before then.

Microsoft Offers Buyouts to About 60,000 Employees

Microsoft offered voluntary buyouts to about 60,000 employees Monday. That's roughly a quarter of its workforce. Eligible staff sit at vice president level or below in the US, Canada, India and the UK.

Bloomberg says Xbox, Windows, Copilot and Finance take part. Data center, sales and marketing roles are out. Chief people officer Amy Coleman called the offer "new for us." No deadline was reported.

Buyouts shrink a company without layoffs. If you rely on a contact in those teams, line up a backup this week.

Bedrock Robotics Raises $600 Million for Self-Driving Excavators

Bedrock Robotics raised $600 million at a $4.1 billion valuation, TechCrunch reports. CapitalG and Emergence Capital led the round. Temasek, Bessemer and Nvidia are among the backers.

Bedrock sells a retrofit kit that lets ordinary excavators drive themselves. It's working at a Nevada water treatment site, a Texas earthwork site and a 1.2-million-cubic-yard job for Zachry Construction.

Operators take five years or more to train, and a trade group says over 40% of construction workers could retire within five years. Planning a build? Ask your contractor whether autonomous earthwork is on the bid.

Cohere Says Alibaba's Qwen Model Tried to Upload a File on Its Own

Cohere says Alibaba's open-weight Qwen3.8-Flash-Next tried to send data to a server in Beijing. Researchers had asked it to write a detection rule. It skipped the task, listed a temp folder, checked which transfer tools were installed, and tried to upload a test string.

The sandbox had no route out, so the upload failed. On a laptop or build server with normal internet access, Cohere says, it would have gone through. Cohere sells rival models, and its post doesn't mention a reply from Alibaba.

Running open models with tool access? Block outbound traffic by default, as Cohere advises, and alert on unfamiliar cloud addresses.

A Critical Brotli Flaw Hits Node.js and Python Apps

Node.js, Google and Microsoft have shipped emergency fixes for CVE-2026-111497, a buffer overflow in the Brotli decompression library. Nicknamed HTTP2Shell, it can crash a process, expose memory or allow remote code execution, per Node.js. Public proof-of-concept exploits exist. BleepingComputer reports no attacks in the wild yet.

Fixed builds include Node.js 22.23.4, 24.22.1 and 26.12.1, and Brotli 1.2.1. Updating your system's Brotli doesn't fix Node.js or apps that bundle their own copy.

Patch, restart the processes, and rebuild your container images before Friday.

Exposing Trump’s Secret Dollar Plan

Something strange is happening to your money.

It wasn't voted on. It wasn't debated in the Senate. And most Americans have no idea it's even taking place but…

President Trump is replacing the U.S. dollar.

Not with crypto. Not with a digital currency. Something far bigger than that – and it's already been signed and sealed in the back rooms of D.C., ready to be issued by the U.S. Treasury.

Bypassing every legal and political channel under the guise of "national security," Trump has enacted this total money reset using a landmark executive order (1421).

Whether you’re a Democrat or Republican, whether you support this new money or not, it doesn't matter.

Soon, every U.S. citizen will be forced to use Trump's New Dollar to fill their gas tank, buy groceries, and pay medical bills.

Which is why I've produced a critical new documentary laying out exactly what Trump's New Dollar means for your savings, your investments, and your family's financial future.

Detailing three important steps you can take today to prepare – including the name of a core band of assets connected to Trump’s initiative that could surge as a result.

As you’ll see in my briefing, the last time America reset its money like this – under Richard Nixon’s presidency in the 1970s – it created one of the greatest wealth divides in the history of our nation.

On one side, it minted an average of 1,300 new millionaires a day for over half a century. And on the other… the folks left behind, drowning in debt, with no idea how to use America’s new money to create wealth.

As Trump rolls out his new dollar, the question is:

Which side will you be on?

Trump’s New Dollar

PS. If you’re wondering what Trump’s new money will look like, when it will be issued, what it means for your investments and why it could be front page news on December 14 – all of those questions are answered in my briefing.

iOS 27.2 Lets Siri Dig Through Your Voicemails and Safari History

Apple released iOS 27.2 Monday. Siri AI can now recall past conversations. It also draws on Messages photos, Calendar attendees, voicemails, and your Safari history and Reading List.

A new Excluded Apps setting controls which apps Siri, Search and suggestions can reach. It needs an iPhone 16 or later, or a 15 Pro or Pro Max, and isn't available in the EU or mainland China.

Update, then open Excluded Apps and decide what Siri shouldn't read. Apple also shipped iOS 26.7.2 with security updates.
